Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Meet US Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard in Delhi

Her visit follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to the US in February, where he met with Gabbard and praised her as a “strong votary” of India-US friendship.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to meet with US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, in New Delhi today to discuss issues of mutual interest between India and the United States, according to defence ministry officials. The meeting will take place at the South Block in Delhi.

Tulsi Gabbard, who is in India as part of her multi-nation visit, had a detailed discussion with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Sunday regarding various aspects of the India-US relationship. Her visit follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to the US in February, where he met with Gabbard and praised her as a “strong votary” of India-US friendship.

As part of her visit, Gabbard will also participate in the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, which begins today in New Delhi. The event will feature global security officials and discussions on key geopolitical and geoeconomic challenges, with Prime Minister Modi inaugurating the conference. Gabbard is scheduled to participate in a keynote conversation with Samir Saran, President of the Observer Research Foundation (ORF).
